Thank you for your interest in the Broad Superintendents Academy. Please review the following instructions regarding our admissions process.
Application Submission
Qualified candidates will be invited to complete an application based on their resume submission. If invited to apply, candidates will be sent an electronic application to the email address listed on their resume. The final deadline for submitting completed applications for the 2009 Academy is Friday, August 15, 2008 (no later than 11:59pm PDT). Applications are reviewed by our committee on a rolling basis; candidates are encouraged to apply early, as we have a limited number of interview slots available.
Preliminary Interviews
We will invite 100 qualified applicants to participate in a phone interview, which will be conducted in September 2008; wherever possible, we may also schedule an in-person and/or video interview in addition to the phone interview. We will begin scheduling interviews as early as March 1, 2008.
Final Interview
Following the initial phone interviews, approximately 40 candidates will be advanced to the final interview stage. These candidates will be asked to attend a day of in-person interviews in Dallas, TX on either Friday, October 24th or Saturday, October 25th, 2008 (candidates must be available on one of these dates). The Broad Superintendents Academy will cover travel expenses associated with in-person interviews.
Candidates selected to join the 2009 Academy will be contacted in mid-December. Offers are contingent upon thorough background and reference checks.
