Qualified individuals will be invited to complete an online application. Qualification will be determined based on resume submission and initial conversations with our recruitment and selection team. Preliminary Interviews
Selected applicants will be invited to interview with at least one member of the recruitment and selection team by phone and/or in person. These interviews will take place in June, July, and August of 2011. Decisions regarding next steps will be made and applicants notified in August. |
 |
Academy Interview Day
Following the preliminary phone interviews, selected applicants will be invited to join us in Los Angeles for a day of in-person interviews on either September 16 or 17, 2011. The Broad Superintendents Academy will cover travel expenses associated with these interviews. Interview Day provides applicants the opportunity to interview with members of our selection committee, Academy alumni and staff, and other experts in the field of education. Decisions regarding next steps will be made within two weeks of Interview Day, and applicants will be notified by telephone. |

Final Interviews and References
Finalists will be determined based on performance during Interview Day. We will conduct professional references and background checks for all finalists, as well as a thorough review of all information collected during the selection process. A final telephone interview will then be scheduled with our managing director. Final decisions are made and offers extended by telephone following final interviews in December, 2011. |
